Dr. Justin Greisberg Promoted to Full Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Columbia University Medical Center

Columbia Orthopedics is thrilled to announce that Dr. Justin K. Greisberg, in recognition of his leadership as a clinician, educator, and researcher in the academic orthopedic community, has been promoted from associate to full professor.

Dr. Vosseller Named AOA Fellow

Columbia Orthopedics foot and ankle specialist J. Turner Vosseller, MD was named a Fellow of the American Orthopaedic Association (AOA), a designation for a surgeon who has “achieved recognition for exceptional accomplishments and leadership in the orthopaedic specialty.” Less than 10% of practicing orthopedic surgeons have earned this distinction and comes after a rigorous peer-reviewed process.

Dr. J. Turner Vosseller, Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Columbia University Medical Center, a specialist in nonoperative and operative treatments of the foot and ankle, served as a guest lecturer at Columbia's Undergraduate Scholars Program (CUSP) series with the topic, "Metamorphosis in Medicine:  How'd We Get From Here to There."  Each year CUSP presents a common theme that every speaker explores.

Dr. Justin Greisberg Served as a Guest Professor of the New England Orthopaedic Society in Boston

Justin Greisberg, MD, had the honor of serving as guest professor of the annual meeting of the New England Orthopaedic Society in Boston in November 2013.  He gave 2 lectures; the first was a review of his experience with the posterior pilon fracture pattern, and the second was a light discussion of the evolution of the human foot, with implications for modern foot ailments.

This award is based on reviews written by hundreds of thousands of patients. While physicians generally receive positive feedback from their patients, only a select few receive praise about the compassion that accompanied their care.

Dr. Justin Greisberg moderated a foot and ankle symposium at the 2012 annual meeting of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons in San Francisco.

 

Dr. Greisberg Receives 2011 Patients' Choice Award

 

Dr. Justin Greisberg has again received the 2011 Patients' Choice Award, as seen on vitals.com and patientschoice.org.  This is the second consecutive year Dr. Greisberg has been honored with this award.
