Dr. Michael Vitale - Visiting Professor at Stanford

Columbia Orthopedics Co-Director, Division of Pediatric Orthopedics and Chief, Pediatric Spine and Scoliosis Service Michael G. Vitale, MD, MPH was a Bleck Visiting Professor at Stanford on October 11. He discussed “Making Spine Surgery Better with Lessons Learned from Aviation,” where he disseminated information on QSV. Drs. Michael Vitale and David Roye Named Inaugural Samberg Scholars

Drs. David P. Roye, Jr. and Michael G. Vitale, Columbia Orthopedics providers, were among ten exceptional physicians at NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital that were named the inaugural Samberg Scholars in Children’s Health, a newly endowed appointment made possible by the generous donation of $25 million from hospital trustee Arthur Samberg and his wife, Rebecca.

Michael G. Vitale, MD, Named One of 17 Top North American Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeons for the Fifth Year in a Row

For the fifth year in a row, Michael G. Vitale, MD, has been named one of the 17 Top North American Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeons.  Ana Lucia Professor of Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery at Columbia University Medical Center, Dr. Vitale is also the Chief of Pediatric Spine and Scoliosis Surgery, co-Director of the Division of Pediatric Orthopedics, and Chief Quality Officer of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at this facility.
