Dr. Vosseller Discusses Nonoperative Treatments in Orthopedics Today

Columbia Orthopedics foot and ankle specialist J. Turner Vosseller, MD discussed nonoperative treatments for Achilles tendon ruptures in the latest issue of Orthopedics Today. Dr. Vosseller's response was to a study that linked nonoperative treatments for Achilles tendon ruptures to soleus muscle atrophy. He claims that the study lacked an internal control but believes the data provides the groundwork for more in-depth studies on strength deficits in operative and nonoperative treatments.
