Dr. Charles Jobin Moderates JAAOS
On May 15, Columbia Orthopedics Residency Program Director Charles M. Jobin, MD moderated the Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (JAAOS) Webinar “Bony Reconstruction of the Anterior Glenoid Rim.” The webinar discussed the article that was published in the May 15 issue of JAAOS with its authors Bassem T. Elhassan, MD; Laurent B. Willemot, MD; and Olivier Verborgt, MD, PhD. A description of the webinar from JAAOS:
“Recurrent anterior shoulder instability is associated with glenohumeral bone loss. Anterior glenoid reconstruction or augmentation prevents recurrence by addressing the pathomechanics. Complications in current procedures have prompted research on a number of graft sources resulting in varying outcomes.”
