Dr. Charles Popkin Serves as Team Physician for USA Hockey U18 Team

Columbia Orthopedics sports medicine specialist, Charles A. Popkin, MD, served as team physician for the USA Hockey U18 team at the 5 Nations tournament in Kravare, Czech Republic on November 4th through 11th. National teams from the Czech Republic, Finland, Sweden, and Switzerland competed in this international tournament as well. The U.S. Team won the tournament after defeating Sweden 8-2, Czech Republic 5-2, Switzerland 8-1, and Finland 3-2.

“I couldn’t be prouder to be a part of this incredible team,” said Dr. Popkin. “Thank you to Coach Wroblewski, Coach Hinote, Coach Lind, Coach Reiter, Jason Hodges, Jake Visser, and Mono for a great week.”
