Dr. Christopher Ahmad to Chair Upcoming Soccer Sports Medicine Course
Columbia Orthopedics provider Christopher S. Ahmad, MD will chair an upcoming soccer sports medicine course along with Drs. Lawrence Clark and Bert Mandelbaum. The course, titled “2019 State of the Art Soccer Medicine: An Update from Kids to the MLS,” will run from September 20th to 21st at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel in Miami, Florida.
The CME course includes experts from the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM); Major League Soccer (MLS); the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS); the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (AMSSM); as well as faculty from Columbia Orthopedics:

The program; intended for providers, athletic trainers, physical therapists, and physician assistants; will include topics related to issues in medical and surgical treatment, the how-to's of performance science, injury prevention, analytics, strength and conditioning as well as talks associated with treatments specific to age, competitive level, and gender.
