Dr. Stavros Thomopoulos Receives NIH-NIAMS Grant

Director of the Carroll Laboratories and Vice Chair of Basic Research Stavros Thomopoulos, PhD, will receive $2,826,867 over five years from the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases for “Enhanced Tendon Healing Through Growth Factor and Cell Therapies.”
The project hopes to, in the long-term, “apply growth factor and cell therapy solutions in order to positively affect the clinical outcomes of tendon repair.”
