1-Month Visiting Student Scholarships

The Columbia University Department of Orthopedic Surgery offers two 1-month visiting student scholarship programs for fourth-year medical students. There are a total of four slots.

• The Columbia/New York Orthopedic Hospital Visiting Elective Scholarship at Columbia Orthopedics is awarded annually to three students (maximum) interested in pursuing a career in orthopedic surgery who would benefit from financial assistance to offset the costs associated with living in NYC for one month. 
• The David P. Roye, Jr., MD Visiting Student Scholarship is open to students who have demonstrated leadership and excellence in their community and who are interested in pursuing orthopedic surgery in their future.
