Overview

Dr. Garry is an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery and a member of the hip and knee reconstruction service. He specializes in the operative and nonoperative treatment of the hip and knee in patients of all ages and is dual fellowship trained in both trauma and arthroplasty.

Dr. Garry received his undergraduate degrees from Tufts University and the University of Maryland and medical degree from Georgetown University. After finishing his orthopedic surgery residency at Montefiore Medical Center in 2017, he went on to complete an orthopedic trauma fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and an adult reconstruction fellowship at New York University Langone Medical Center. In addition, Dr. Garry has held posts as an orthopedic surgeon at both the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia, and the Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx and as an assistant professor of military medicine and orthopedic surgery at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Maryland. He was also a naval flight officer in the U.S. Navy.

Dr. Garry is active in academic research, having coauthored articles in a variety of publications, including Military Medicine, British Medical Journals Case Reports, and Indian Spine Journal."
