Helping athletes, parents, and coaches navigate safe, healthy, and fun youth athletics

Amid continued pandemic safety concerns, experts from Columbia University Irving Medical Center and NewYork-Presbyterian have been helping shape the guidelines for safe and healthy athletic competition at the professional, collegiate, and highschool level.  The State of Play community education program brings that expertise directly to athletes, parents, coaches, and administrators in local schools and sports organizations via customized educational events on a variety of topics affecting youth sports, including:

  • Injury prevention & recovery
  • Covid safety guidelines and post-infection return to play
  • Sports psychology and mental health
  • Health, wellness, and performance tools

Programs customized for your organization & community

Upcoming parents information session? Training for league coaches? Pre-season team meetings? Our team will work with your organization to build a program to meet your specific needs – whether that's a brief high-level overview and Q&A for a small in-person meeting, or an in-depth virtual seminar open to your entire community.
